Christmas comes only once a year, bringing with it colder weather, merry faces, and seasonal festivities. If you’re looking for some unique holiday activities this winter, come and experience a Mystic Seaport Christmas and all it has to offer during this magical time of the year!
This institution was formed in 1929 with one goal in mind: to save America’s seafaring artifacts before they disappeared into history. Today, Mystic Seaport stands as America’s leading maritime museum and has expanded to cover 19 acres on the Mystic River in Mystic, Connecticut, a beautiful and historic town. The grounds of this historically rich organization include a 19th-century coastal village, a working shipyard, exhibit halls, and artifact storage. The staff of Mystic Seaport includes scholars of all varying skills and knowledge, creating an educational atmosphere for this prestigious museum. Classes and events are held regularly for the entertainment and education of the public.
Mystic Newport is proud to present several Christmas themed events this holiday season to get their guests in the Christmas spirit! Some are ongoing throughout the winter months; others are for limited dates only. Be sure to mark your calendars!
