As we approach the July 4th weekend, we are thrilled to see that summer is in full swing in Mystic. The streets are bustling with visitors heading to the Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos and other area attractions. We are excited to be enjoying the busy season and have experienced some warm summer weather this week, perfect for dining outdoors on our patio.
Our guests have had a chance to sample summer fare from our new Garden Menu, and have enjoyed sipping selections from our Sunset Cocktail list while relaxing around the firepit overlooking the pond and blooming Summer gardens. They are raving about Chef Toppin’s creations, especially the Lobster & Crab Cakes, Natalie’s Favorite Spinach Salad, and the Espresso Rubbed Sirloin Steak.
Our Patio is now open Wednesday - Saturday at 4:00pm, with the full dinner menu available in our dining room Wed – Sat beginning at 5:00pm. Join us!!

“Stonecroft Country Inn is one of the most charming inns I’ve experienced in the New England area–and I have stayed at many of them. The country setting provides the ultimate in tranquility, and yet it is conveniently located to Mystic and other sites of interest. The grounds are beautifully manicured and even include individual firepits for guests to enjoy when the weather is chilly. Recently renovated, the decor is tasteful and guests are offered a wide range of room styles–both in the 1807 house as well as in the Grange (where the larger suites are located). Kathi and Jason are warm and welcoming innkeepers who take pleasure in making sure all of their guests’ needs are met. A delicious breakfast is served each morning, and gourmet dining is available at the inn’s new in-house restaurant Wed.-Sunday nights (advance reservations recommended). Stonecroft Inn has been placed on my list of inns that I definitely would like to visit again when I can stay longer. My wife and I celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary last night by having dinner at the Stonecroft Inn restaurant. Although we live nearby in North Stonington, we’d never been to Stonecroft before. We picked Stonecroft hoping it would be similar to the place where we held our wedding, Randall’s Ordinary in North Stonington, which is now closed. We wanted to let you know how delighted we were with the whole experience. the restaurant, the fireplace, the incredible food, and the special attention paid to us by our waiter, Adam, made the dinner a memorable event that we are still talking about today. In fact, we hope you’ll pass our appreciation along to Adam. You’ve certainly moved to the top of our list of Favorite Places. We will be back and will highly recommend you to friends.
