Stonecroft is an ideal Inn for group visits of 3 to 6 couples. Take over the 1807 House with 3-4 couples or take over the Grange with 4-6 couples. Located right between the Casinos and downtown Mystic, there is plenty to do over a 2-4 night stay, with a full country breakfast every morning and plenty of fire lit commons areas for your group to spend time together. Read the comment below from our last group of friends that stayed in the 1807 House:

Just spent a magnificient 4 days at the Inn with three other couples. We have been doing this for 21 years and this year was one of the best ever! The staff, Owner and Chef all wonderful. Special thanks to Jason, Kathryn, Maria and Trevor. They could not have been more accommodating and our group can be a tough one to please. All of our meals were fabulous. Would definitely recommend this Inn to anyone wanting a quaint, quiet, relaxing, but fun experience!

We have some great news here at Stonecroft. We have a new head chef, Trevor Douglas! Chef Douglas was trained in the United Kingdom at Birmingham College of Food and Domestic Arts in Birmingham, England. He has worked at the Four Seasons Hotel in London, Brennan’s Restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he learned cooking in the Creole tradition, and the New England Culinary Institute in Essex, Vermont as Chef Instructor.

Most recently, Chef Douglas worked at the Petit St. Vincent Resort in the West Indies where he was Executive Chef, preparing a daily changing menu from scratch using high quality ingredients. Prior to Petit St. Vincent, Douglas was the Executive Chef at Hotel Viking in Newport, Rhode Island. All of Chef Douglas’ culinary travels are going to give our guests an exciting dining experience menu filled with fresh, seasonal, and inspirational dishes!
