Originally the 1807 estate of Sea Captain Shubel Smith, Stonecroft Country Inn offers two distinct lodging options amidst an atmosphere of relaxation and romance.

Our unique property offers two inns in one – a sunny 1807 Georgian Colonial with wide plank floors and wood burning fireplaces; and a newly renovated post and beam barn, we call The Grange, featuring luxurious accommodations with whirlpool tubs and gas fireplaces.

These spectacular venues offer games of chance and world-class entertainment just a short distance from our tranquil retreat. If sunny beaches are what you seek, we are only 20 minutes to Misquamicut Beach in Rhode Island or Ocean Beach in New London, CT. And, for one of the most popular day trips in New England, we are just 45 minutes from Newport, RI.
